Product Review Roundup: September 1 – 18

StealsNDealsReviewRoundup

We’ve been busy trying out all kinds of new products this month! So far most of them have been fantastic. Of course, there were a few that could use a few tweaks (or just plain weren’t for me), but we are going highlight some our favorites here! We’ll to aim to do this every few weeks, but if you’d like to see it more frequently, or have any particular areas of interest/product lines you’d like to see, let us know! We hope you guys will leave us comments about what interests you and what you liked/didn’t like so that we can start lining up some giveaways that you’ll really love! We don’t want to be giving away something like a blender if you’re really interested in beauty products or carseats. Or maybe you’d like all of the above? We’ll do our very best to track down and host giveaways and exclusive deals for your most sought-after items, you just have to let us know!

OK on to the goodies we’ve tried out lately. It’s back to school time, and we did some fall cleanup in the house and our beauty/makeup stashes so this first roundup will be a little bit of a mashup of many categories. If you’d rather see separate posts for each category once a month, let us know. We like it all mixed together for now because sometimes you might see something you never even knew you needed!

♥ Valentina Paris Hand Painted Wine Glasses (Rating: 5 stars)

We admit to getting a case of the “gotta have it”s when we saw someone post these gorgeous glasses on Instagram a few months ago.  They were so gorgeous, they became the elusive dream wine glasses we never thought we’d find.  We were so happy to find that they are made by Valentina Paris and were beyond excited to have the opportunity to review them! These glasses are just stunning and we are already planning on who to buy them for this holiday season!

♥ Crafts 4 Kidz Chalk Markers (Rating: 5 stars)

As Pinterest fanatics, we always drool over the endless back to school projects & arts and crafts that incorporate chalkboard markers and art markers, but they seemed a bit overwhelming. We jumped at the opportunity to review the Crafts4Kidz chalk marker set and now we are obsessively chalk markering everything in site! The set has 8 markers and 24 chalkboard style labels a variety of shapes. We went a little crazy with them and even made a YouTube video from the pictures we took!

You can grab these on Amazon here: Arts and Crafts Liquid Chalk Markers & 24 Chalkboard-Style Stickers! – 8 Vibrant Colors, Non-Toxic and Odorless – The Premium Crafts Supplies For Children of All Ages.

A little tip – when your markers first arrive, be sure to follow the helpful instructions on the package – you have to push down on the marker tip for a bit, then give it a good shake, then push to get the chalk marker liquid to the tip so you can use them.

♥ YuGiOh Trading Cards (100 card set + Booster Pack) (Rating: 5 stars)

The kids have expanded their Pokemon obsession into YuGiOh obsession, so we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Golden Groundhog to test out and review their awesome set of 100 Assorted YuGiOh Cards With Holos & Rares! Includes Bonus Booster Pack! Plus Bonus Golden Groundhog Token! Needless to say, it was a huge hit at our house, and we will be ordering their Pokemon set this week, so look for that review in the next roundup!

♥ Reusable Single Cup Keurig Solo Filter Pods Review
(Rating: 5 Stars)

As decaf drinkers, we tend to be limited on great k-cup options for decaf. It seems like it’s plain decaf, french vanilla or hazelnut for us. Despite an original Keurig at home (not 2.0) and professional Keurig machine at work, we struggle on the regular to find great coffee options. The idea of getting our favorite ground coffee & using a reusable k-cup appealed both on a taste level and environmental level, so we were excited to review these!

♥ TruMoroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner (Rating: 5 Stars) and Gio Naturals 100% Argan Oil (Rating: 5 Stars)

After a summer of beach, pool, sports, and other outdoor fun, the sun took a major toll on our hair and we are determined to reverse the damage & protect it going forward.  After lots of research on the latest and greatest products to help (thick, wavy, color-treated hair), we decided to test out a few Argan Oil products to see if they could live up to their promises.  We were NOT disappointed! We tried out Tru Moroccan’s Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner and loved the results.  We also tried out Gio Naturals 100% Argan Oil and have been using it before flat ironing and as a smoothing shine serum and loving it!
